About the Project
DARE (Developing programs for Access of Disadvantaged groups of people and Regions to Higher Education) is a cross-regional project under the Erasmus+ Key Action 2, funded by the Educational, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency ("EACEA") of the European Union.
DARE has worked to increase access to HE for three Target Groups:
Students with disabilities
Students from minority groups
Students who are women
DARE has focused on three pathways to achieve these ends: Student support Services, Training of staff and faculty in institutions of higher education, and increasing On-line and Blended learning.
DARE strives for three levels of from micro to macro: individual beneficiaries, institution change, national trends.
